Senator Chris Murphy went on Meet the Press to tell you the only way to lower energy prices is to end the war with Iran.

What he didn’t mention: Connecticut has ranked #2 in the nation for electricity costs — and it’s been that way for years. Before the war. Before the bombs dropped. Before any of it.

The average CT family pays $2,485 a year for electricity. $700 more than the national average. That’s not Iran’s fault. That’s Hartford’s fault. That’s Chris Murphy’s party’s fault — green mandates, blocked pipelines, and regulatory costs piled onto every single bill.
Murphy had the chance to own it. Instead, he pointed at a war.
